Breaking down the tech you use every day
I'm Asep, a software engineer based in Tangerang. In short videos I explain how everyday systems work, like why one QRIS code works in every app. When something breaks in my real projects, I write the fix down here for other developers.
Watch the videos
Short explainers with no jargon. The same videos are on every platform.
What I cover
Everyday digital systems
How QRIS, mobile data quotas, and e-money cards actually work behind the screen.
Simple software and infrastructure
DNS, load balancers, and Docker, explained for people who do not write code.
AI for work
Practical ways to use AI tools on real tasks, not theory.
For developers: start with these
Write-ups from real projects, with the logs and configs I used.
- Next.js Build Heap Out of Memory in CI: Exit 137 FixTwo different failures that look the same in the CI log, and the fix that stopped the kills.
- The Real Fix for Flaky Docker Buildx CI DownloadsWhy retrying was not enough, and what actually made the builds stable.
- We Found a Kubernetes Outage That Never AlertedA silent certificate expiry, how we noticed it, and what we monitor now.
